Visit Marieve Rodriguez DMD, an Invisalign® Dentist, to Have Your Teeth Straightened

If you want to improve your smile, visit our Invisalign® dentist office to speak with Marieve Rodriguez DMD. We have treated numerous adults who always wanted a straight smile, but did not want to wear traditional braces. This is understandable, for while braces are effective at straightening teeth, they can also be inconvenient. When you wear braces, you cannot take them off if you have a special event coming up. You cannot take them out to eat or brush, so you have to learn to adjust to life with braces. For some people, these inconveniences are not worth it. Fortunately, Invisalign® solves all these problems. This is a convenient way to straighten teeth because the aligners that move your teeth are designed to be taken out. You are supposed to remove them when you eat and brush your teeth. This means your general routine will not change. The only real difference is that you have to remember to brush your teeth before putting your aligner back in. That’s it. Essentially, all you need to do is carry a case for your aligners and a travel toothbrush. Otherwise, you can go about your daily routine without worrying about how aligners will impact it.

What Invisalign® can do for you:

  • Straighten your teeth
  • Close gaps in between teeth
  • Align your jaw

As an Invisalign® dentist, Marieve Rodriguez DMD can help you to accomplish your goal of having a straight and beautiful smile. While traditional braces can accomplish these same goals, they pose a level of inconvenience that simply does not exist when wearing clear aligners. As with any orthodontic treatment, you will need to qualify for it. Most adults are excellent candidates for Invisalign®, but we still need to conduct a physical examination and take x-rays to determine if it will work for you. If you have any infections, cavities, or signs of gum disease, they will need to be treated first, so you are starting your procedure with a healthy mouth.

In some cases, we treat patients who not only need to straighten their teeth, but also need to replace a missing tooth or remove dark stains. In this situation, we will be happy to complete a full smile makeover that includes straightening teeth and addressing imperfections. When doing so, timing will be important. We will work with you from the very beginning to create a treatment plan that includes every aspect of your smile makeover with set timelines for each. For example, if you need to replace a missing tooth, we may begin your Invisalign® treatment and then provide you with a dental implant toward the end. If you have stains on your teeth, you may want to whiten them at the beginning and once more when your teeth are straight. These are all things we can discuss after conducting an examination.
