Visit Dr. Rodriguez DMD Before Leaving for College

Dr. Rodriguez DMD can make sure your teeth and gums are healthy prior to your leaving for college. We realize how difficult it can be to find a dentist or doctor while away at college, especially if you are living in another state. This is why it is in your best interest to simply schedule an appointment and have your teeth cleaned before you leave for school. We promise that we will make it easy for you to do so.

Dr. Rodriguez DMD Can:

  • Clean your teeth. You should have your teeth cleaned twice a year in order to remove the plaque and tartar that can build up. Since they can lead to cavities and gum disease, it is critical that you keep these bi-annual dental appointments. This can be difficult to do while you are away at college, so it is best for you to visit our clinic before you leave for school. Doing so can prevent an unnecessary toothache while you are away.
  • Restore damaged teeth. If you cracked or chipped any of your teeth, you are in good company. It is actually fairly common to have this happen, even when doing something as simple as eating your favorite bag of peanuts. However, if you do have a small crack or chip in one of your teeth, that tooth is ripe for an infection and you could suffer a sudden toothache. We want to help prevent this and can when you visit our dental office. By restoring your tooth using dental bonding, a dental veneer, or a dental crown, we can ensure that you can continue using it without discomfort.
  • Treat tooth decay. If you are showing soft spots or early signs of tooth decay, we want to treat those right away so we can prevent you from developing full-blown cavities. This is the best type of preventative care because it will help you remain as comfortable as possible and decrease the need for more invasive procedures down the road.
  • Whiten your teeth. If you want to start college with a beautiful smile, you should visit our office for a teeth whitening procedure. We can remove deep stains and discoloration from your teeth so you can smile with teeth that you can be proud to show off. Whether you have teeth that are slightly discolored or have serious stains from doing things like drinking coffee and taking antibiotics, we can bring your teeth back to a beautiful shade of white, so your confidence can be improved.

Schedule an Appointment With Dr. Rodriguez DMD

If you want to visit our dental clinic before leaving for college, call right away and schedule an appointment. This is a busy time of year with treating children going back to school, so we want to make sure we can see you in plenty of time. That way, if we notice dental damage during your initial examination, there is time for a second visit to correct it. This may be required if you have tooth decay or need a dental crown.
